Every question we get asked — answered honestly. If yours isn't here, just get in touch.
Most kitchens start from £1,500 — the final price depends on the number of doors, drawer fronts, and whether the cabinet frames are included. We always provide a fixed, itemised quote with no hidden extras after our free home visit.
The full process takes around five days. On day one we visit your home to carefully remove all doors, drawer fronts, and any removable fixed parts. These are taken to our workshop where they are professionally spray-finished. Midweek, our team returns to hand-paint the fixed cabinet frames and carcasses in situ. On day four or five we return to refit everything — and your kitchen is transformed.
No and no. You don't need to empty a single cupboard or drawer — your kitchen contents stay exactly where they are throughout. Because all spraying takes place off-site in our workshop, there is no overspray, no fumes, and no disruption at home. You can use your kitchen as normal throughout the week.
No. All spray painting takes place in our professional off-site workshop — never in your home. This means a cleaner, more controlled finish, no overspray risk to your worktops or appliances, and no disruption to your household. The fixed frames and carcasses that cannot be removed are hand-painted on-site to a matching standard.
Any colour. We can match any Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, Mylands, RAL, or Dulux shade — and most other paint references. If you can find the colour, we can spray it. Use our Colour Studio to explore over 170 colours across three premium brands and see how they look on a kitchen before you decide.
Extremely durable. We use professional-grade coatings specifically designed for high-use kitchen environments — resistant to moisture, heat, and everyday cleaning. With proper care, the finish will look great for many years.
We provide a two-year guarantee on all workmanship and materials. If any issue arises with the finish within that period, we return to rectify it — at no charge.
We work with the vast majority of kitchen cabinet types including MDF, solid wood, vinyl-wrapped, and thermofoil doors. We assess suitability during our free home visit and will always be transparent if we think a surface won't achieve the standard we expect.
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or bleach-based products. We provide a full written aftercare guide on completion.
Yes. We're based in Tweedbank and cover the full Scottish Borders region — including Kelso, Peebles, Selkirk, Hawick, Galashiels, Melrose, Jedburgh, and surrounding areas. There's no call-out charge within our service area.
Spray painting in a controlled workshop environment delivers a finish that is simply impossible to achieve with a brush or roller. No brush marks, no lap lines — just a smooth, even coat that looks factory-applied. It's why all kitchen manufacturers spray-finish their doors. The fixed parts of your kitchen that cannot be removed are hand-painted on-site to match.
A new kitchen typically costs £8,000–£25,000 and takes weeks to plan and install, leaving you without a working kitchen throughout. Fresh Finishes starts from £1,500, takes around five days, and you can use your kitchen the whole time. Your units stay in place — just completely transformed.
Simply fill in our online quote form or give us a call. We'll arrange a free home visit at a time that suits you, assess your kitchen, and provide a fixed written quote — usually within 24 hours. No obligation, ever.
